Zoltan Preiner

Born in Budapest in 1955, Hungarian artist Zoltan Preiner went on to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in the capital.

Influences from the 17th-century Baroque period are clear to see, particular the Dutch Golden Age period of painting. Focusing on still life, Zoltan Preiner's painting have the typical Baroque characteristic of rendering the subject matter in luminous, theatrical lighting.
