Benoit Havard

Benoit Havard is a French painter who was born in 1981 in Orléans. He started drawing and painting at the age of six. In 1998, he entered the School of Fine Arts of Cherbourg, where Lejeune and Valadié became his teachers.

His artistic journey led him to work mostly with watercolors and pastels at first, however today he specializes in painting with acrylics.

The artist draws his inspiration from his trips, with a predilection for marine and urban scenes. His brightly colored landscapes emit a meditative mood, where contemplation makes sense. His canvases are alive, animated by the experiences that Benoit Havart manages to transcribe in his compositions, real captures of an instant.

Benoit Havard exhibits his work in several French galleries since 2004 and has been guest of honor in several fairs. We can also find his pieces in numerous public and private collections, such as La Francaise des Jeux, Louis Vuitton, ASSYS CYBORG and the Mauresmo family. His work was published in the magazine Univers des Arts in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
